MUM Industries works to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification status at each of its brand companies. This certification is based on multiple quality management principles set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to “ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services” [1].
As part of maintaining such high quality standards, MUM Industries regularly invites independent certification bodies to perform an audit of its practices. Although not required for certification status, external audits are an important part of MUM Industries’ culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
